Do you know the truth about how "Christmas" came to be? While most people associate "Christmas" with "Santa Claus" or the birth of "Jesus Christ," Christmas is neither a time for giving gifts nor the actual birth date of Jesus. As a matter of fact, the origins of "Christmas" are not very christian like in the least, little, bit. They are actually the polar opposite of Christianity. The fictional birth date of Jesus on December 25, was created by "Pope Paul ll" to coincide with the last day of a completely lawless, horrific, pagan, holiday called "Saturnalia."
Even though the origins of "Christmas" are so drenched in evilness and debauchery it feels almost wrong to celebrate it, I choose to view Christmas as a time of goodwill towards all people on Earth and a time for everyone of us to show a little more compassion, kindness and generosity. The whole story behind it is quite the history lesson and actually very fascinating. So, from my house to yours . . .
