TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF
Starting today, I want you to set aside at least five minutes of your day, and do nothing but close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Learn how to regulate your breathing. People don't realize that throughout our day, our breathing usually becomes quicker and more shallow. This is a direct response to the hectic, stressful, lives we lead.
Check yourself out during the day. Ask yourself; "what is my breathing like right now?" If you are not taking calm, proper breaths, pause, and self-regulate. You will be amazed at the calming affect it will have on you. After all . . . "your body wants to be in oxygen, not out of oxygen." Take time out of your day just for yourself!
